What Does It Mean To Be A Household of Strength? A Household of Strength is one that exerts a salt and light influence on the world around it. It is a working embassy of the kingdom of God when it is managed by an ambassador for Christ. Living in such a household is an adventure. But because the peace of God rules over its daily routines and the Lordship of Christ harmonizes all of its ambitions, it is a quieter place than most other homes, a place free from the intrusions of mass media, a stimulating place of delightful study, a productive place of family business, a generous place of hospitality where others can taste and see that the Lord is good, and it is an influential place where like-minded householders mobilize for effective community service.
